- weight limit is 240 pounds
- riders must be in good physical health and be able to mount their horse unassisted.
- Due to the mountainous terrain and safety of our horses and riders, all rides at Deer Valley are at a walking pace.
- advanced/private rides are available with us at other locations.
- kids must be age 6 and up for the 1 hour ride.

Wonderful trail ride through Deer Valley. The guides were knowledgeable and gave us tips on wildflowers and edible plants. The horses were powerful, steady and incredibly kind giants that hauled my 9 year old and myself safely on the trail. They picked their way down narrow trails and easily up the grind of a 8000 foot elevation without even breaking a sweat. The horses are well cared for and their owners know each one perfectly.
Our sleigh ride was the perfect way to start our Deer Valley adventure! Our driver arrived right on time and he was friendly and polite. The blankets they provided kept us warm, and the 30 minutes ride was the perfect amount of time. I highly recommend the sleigh ride with Boulder Mountain.
